All manufacturers’ warranties on a UK vehicle are fully covered in Ireland and any other EU member state. All main dealers by law must honour the warranty.

The car warranty period given to the vehicle in the UK, will apply to the vehicle once imported to Ireland, regardless of any shorter warranty periods available in Ireland. For example, Audi Ireland only give a 2 year warranty, however AUDI UK give a 3 year warranty, thus any Audi imported from the UK will benefit from a 3 years manufacturers warranty,
