There are some great small cars available from all the major manufacturers, not that small is really the best way to describe a compact car anymore. All our old favourites, such as the Ford Fiesta or the Opel Corsa, seem to have grown in size to support a comfortable cabin for up to 5 adults. This has now made way for an even smaller class of vehicles such as the Aygo from Toyota and the 107 from Peugeot.
